The Heathen Apostles will kick off their first show of 2017 on Saturday February 18th at the Maui Sugar Mill Saloon in Tarzana, Ca. It will be a special acoustic show during which the band will play rare cover songs as well as their unique take on Gothic Americana. Click HERE for more info.
The Heathen Apostles will be making a special appearance on Thursday August 18th at the legendary (and recently remodeled) Clifton’s in Downtown Los Angeles. The admission is free, and there are 3 sets starting at 9pm. They will be performing their takes on classic tunes as well as acoustic versions of their own unique songs. The Heathen Apostles Duo will be in Central California the 1st weekend in September, come on out for these unique shows, Mather and Chopper will be playing some classic tunes along with their own originals. Click HERE for more info.
The promo teaser shot with Lawrence Drayton for the upcoming Misery and Gin EP , The Heathen Apostles tribute to the late, great Merle Haggard, is now live. The EP is out July 22nd on Ratchet Blade Records, the full length music video will be out that week, and the release show is on July 21st at the Viper Room, click HERE for tickets.
The Heathen Apostles will be releasing their Merle Haggard tribute EP Misery and Gin on July 22nd on Ratchet Blade Records. It will feature the two songs they performed in May at the Merle Haggard tribute concert Misery and Gin and I’m Gonna Break Every Heart I Can. The EP will also feature a remix of I’m Gonna Break Every Heart I Can by Almighty Watching. A release show has been scheduled for July 21st at The Viper Room in West Hollywood, Ca. Also appearing will be Charlie Overby and Paul Cauthen. Check back for more details.
The Heathen Apostles will be returning to the Honky Tonk Hacienda on Thursday June 23rd at it’s new location at the Hi Hat in Highland Park, Ca. They will be playing the songs from their upcoming single, their versions of Merle Haggards’ Misery & Gin and I’m Gonna Break Every Heart I Can. Click HERE for more info.
The Heathen Apostles will be playing cuts from the new “Requiem For A Remix” album this Friday April 8th on the Stella Stray Pop show on KXLU 88.9 at 11pm in the Los Angeles area. You can stream the show live by visiting http://kxlu.com/ during the show.

The Heathen Apostles’ special February acoustic appearances wrapped this past Saturday with a full band set at The Echo in Echo Park, Ca. The band will be back in their full acoustic/electric Gothic Roots glory at Bar Sinister (at Boardner’s) in Hollywood on Saturday April 9th. The Heathen Apostles have 2 special acoustic shows in February, the first at Cafe NELA in Cypress Park, Ca. on the 13th (as a trio) and at The Echo in Echo Park, Ca. on the 20th (as a quartet), be sure and try and make it down, they will be playing songs they may not play live again.
Chopper and Mather will be heading up and down the US West Coast for a series of Heathen Apostles Duo shows to promote the new Fire to the Fuse album. They will be playing acoustically and showcasing alot of the roots elements that go into the Heathen Apostles sound, Mather will be playing guitar while Chopper plays guitar, banjo and mandolin. The Heathen Apostles will be playing an acoustic duo show (Mather on guitar and Chopper on banjo!) Friday July 24th at Rob Kelley’s After Five in Hemet, Ca., it’s free to get in so if you are in the area come on down and raise some hell! Click HERE for more info.
On Thursday October 30th the Heathen Apostles are playing Jonny Coffin‘s Halloween Bash at St. Felix in Hollywood, also appearing is the great Mosh, and it is hosted by Mike Odd. There will be Go Go Ghouls dancing all night, and there will also be a gallery of rare original Vampira prints from 1954! And it’s free, come early, this event will reach capacity!
The Heathen Apostles will be appearing on Sunday October 26th at the Dark Harbor Haunt at the legendary Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. Dark Harbor brings the real haunted history of The Queen Mary to life, and the band will be appearing in the Voodoo Village from 7pm to 8pm. Just announced, the Heathen Apostles return to Jonny Coffin‘s Club Tarantino at 3 Clubs in Hollywood on Thursday August 7th! Be sure and mark your calendar, these nights are always a toxic brew of sonic and visual madness!

The Heathen Apostles have been added to the Hippy Killer Hoedown, they had finalized the line up but when they heard the band they couldn’t resist adding them. The event starts at 10 am and the Heathen Apostles are on at 1 pm. The Mau Maus are playing the annual Messaround X Mas party on Sunday December 15th. Thrown by veteran writer Jonny Whiteside, it will take place at Viva Cantina in Burbank California and will also feature the Billybones, Golden Sombrero and the Dick and Jane Family Orchestra.
